At the end of Qing Dynasty, on the annual royal festival Sha'er use his great plait and easily fought down the leader the local riff-raff Bo Lihua. After that he defeated many martial arts masters from all walks of life and Japanese warriors though his great plait. Then this plait was call as Great Plait. In 1900 Shae joined the Boxer Uprising and left those foreigners who invaded our country.
